Lesson 6 - How To Read Guitar TAB and Neck Diagrams

• What is a Chord diagram? A chord diagram is a graphic representation of how to play your chords. (See graphics below.)

• What is TAB? TAB or tablature is a visual representation of what you playing on guitar. The horizontal line represents the strings, the vertical lines represent a measure and the numbers represent the fret you are on.

Homework: Try to find the finger placement on your guitar for the C chord.
